From the factory, the Dodge Challenger has LED accent halos in the headlight that illuminate in a white color. With Diode Dynamics replacement LED boards, you can upgrade your look by making those accents also light up as brilliant amber turn signal, with a "switchback" dual-color effect. This is a great way to stand out on the road, while maintaining a clean OEM-style appearance.
These LED boards are a direct replacement for the factory ones, but have double the number of LEDs, in both white and amber. The white LEDs turn on as your parking lights and DRLs, with a dimmed power level at night. Anytime you hit your turn signal, the white shuts off, and they light up in bright amber to indicate signaling.
You don't have to align and fasten LEDs by hand- this is an OEM-grade solution, with exact fitment, and perfect alignment of the new LEDs. Just remove the factory boards, and ours fit directly in place. Your order includes two sets of replacement boards, one for each side.
Made in USA, these boards utilize high-power SMD LED chips. The amber chips are a custom-manufactured downcoverted 1800K LED for superior brightness compared to standard amber chips, ensuring extremely high brightness, even during the day.
To drive the high-power LEDs safely, a new constant-current, waterproof, inductive driver is included for each set. This driver utilizes a PWM brightness control system, a Diode Dynamics exclusive. This allows for a low-power white at night, high-power white during the day, and then an amber turn signal that is even brighter! While the amber is extremely bright, we do not recommend disabling your factory turn signal.
Professional installation is strongly recommended, as the factory headlights must be opened in order to replace the LED panels. T-tap connectors and wiring instructions are included, to connect to your factory signal wires. For complete installation guide please click here
